Taxi Phone Bookings with an SMS Deposit Link

Many customers will keep calling — especially for airport transfers. The problem is that a phone booking carries no commitment: if the customer changes their mind, the taxi drives out for nothing. With Wiiz you add the booking in seconds and the customer confirms it by paying a deposit from the SMS they receive.

A new ride in three steps

• Where: pickup and destination with address suggestions and quick picks (airports, cities) — the price is calculated instantly. Or pick one of your fixed routes.
• When: "Now" or scheduled with a day and time, passengers and luggage.
• Customer: search an existing customer or enter name and mobile, flight, notes and — optionally — an agreed price.

The SMS to the customer

With "Book & send SMS", the customer immediately receives an SMS from the platform with the route, the time and a link to pay the deposit by card through JCC. Once paid, the ride turns "Confirmed". The SMS is charged to your company’s SMS wallet. Because you added it yourself, the ride counts as already accepted — no extra approval step.

If the customer doesn’t pay

The ride shows as "Awaiting deposit" and one tap resends the SMS. The link stays active until shortly before pickup; if it isn’t paid, the ride expires with no charge.

From your phone or computer

The same feature is in the Wiiz app ("＋ New ride" on Rides) and in the dashboard at wiiz.app. No reading card details over the phone and no paperwork.
